In today's podcast, we discuss:

1. The New Wild Card and the Balanced Schedule

2. The Free Agent Pitching Market

3. The Nationals Rotation

4. The Center Field Situation

5. 2012 Predictions

We hope you enjoy the podcast.

Great podcast. It's great to hear Nationals commentary from people who follow the team and understand baseball. Are you planning to be on iTunes?

If we don't get Buehrle, We need to go as is with our pitching rotation. Rizzo and Nationals can't afford to keep harboring these upcoming stars in our farm system. I do think that with Bryce Harper, we need to develope his baseball skills a bit more before we call him up. But, Tom Milone and Brad Peacock are capable of putting up decent if not great numbers for the back end up of our starting rotation. Just like you guys, I would disagree with Oswalt or Wilson. Our 1-2 punch of Strasburg-Zimmermann need to be left alone. Let em rip!

1. Strasburg

2. Zimmermann

3. Lannan

4 .Wang

5. Detwiler/Milone/Peacock

I'd hate to see Lannan go, I think he has been through alot of bad times in D.C and he deserves a chance to show us what he's got when other starting pitchers of great caliber are around him. Without Livo, Long Ball Lannan will step up!

@dglopez09 The only thing I would say is that Oswalt might be a good one year option. If we get him we might be able to package Lannan and a minor leaguer for a decent center fielder. I love Lannan but Oswalt is an upgrade, even if we only have him for 1-2 years, and we could get a center fielder out of it.

@dglopez09 I totally agree with your rotation. I think Detwiler is most likely because of where he was picked in the draft, and he's a lefty. Lots can change in Spring Training though. Thanks for listening to the podcast, glad you seemed to like it.
