MLBTR Poll: Dunn not even close to top FA
MLBTradeRumors.com has posted a poll asking readers to answer a very simple question: Which free agent will get the most guaranteed money this offseason? After 1,607 votes as of 11:41 A.M., these were the results:
Interestingly Adam Dunn isn't even in the top four, according to MLBTR readers. Dunn has never signed a huge major league deal before, however he has made statements this year leading us to believe he is going to push hard for one this winter. This was his same strategy in 2008, however, which saw him wait until the last minute and desperately sign a two-year $20 million deal with Washington.
In a recent post we spoke about how Dunn has been underrated to the point where he has almost been disrespected...but maybe general managers know something we don't. How much would you pay Dunn this offseason?
